The Peace Memorial Park ( Heiwa kinen kouen )

A national park located in Itoman, Okinawa Prefecture. It is established in a location overlooking the site of the end of the Battle of Okinawa. Okinawa Battle Site Government Park.

The park has a spacious lawn and playground equipment, and is crowded on weekends with local families and others.

The park has a Peace Memorial Museum, Okinawa Peace Memorial Hall, and other facilities exhibiting materials related to the Battle of Okinawa.
