Urasoe City Museum of Art ( Urasoeshibijutukan )
A public art museum located in Urasoe City, Okinawa Prefecture. The museum exhibits lacquerware, especially Ryukyu lacquerware, which flourished during the Ryukyu Dynasty.
The permanent exhibition mainly displays a collection of Ryukyu lacquerware.
Special exhibitions feature a variety of Japanese and international works, not limited to lacquerware.
