A row of fukugi trees in Bise ( Bise no Fukugi namiki )
A street with many fukugi trees in the district called Bise. It is known as a deep green power spot.
Fukugi were planted as windbreaks to shelter the area from typhoon-force winds, and have protected Bise, which rises along the coast, for many years.
It can be enjoyed by walking or renting a bicycle to explore the area.
Close to the ocean, it is possible to take a walk along the coast.
There are cafes and eateries along the way, so you can take a break.
