Sefa Utaki ( Seifa utaki )
Utaki (sacred site) built during the Ryukyu Kingdom. It is considered one of the most sacred sites in the Ryukyu Dynasty.
Located high in the forest, it is a power spot with a solemn atmosphere.
It was once a sacred place where inauguration ceremonies and rituals were held, and there are several places of worship on the grounds that have been used for rituals of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
From the deepest part of the shrine, visitors can see the sacred island of Kutaka Island, where Amamikyo, the founder of the Ryukyu Islands, is said to have descended and from which the Ryukyu Islands were created.
Originally, the site was forbidden to men, but now both men and women are allowed to enter.
