Naminoue Shrine ( Naminoue guu )

A shrine standing by the sea in Naha. It is said to have been built on a sacred site that was once used as a place of worship.

The three Kumano deities are enshrined.

It is a regular shrine that many locals visit on New Year's Day for Hatsumode.

Omikuji (fortune) and good luck charms are available for purchase.

The shrine is connected to Nami no Ue Beach, so you can stroll around there as well.
